Hot Rolled Rebar

The hot rolled rebar sold by CamaSteel through trusted suppliers are usually used to help concrete withstand forces that concrete alone cannot. Concrete alone is sufficient for natural compression forces, but not for tension forces that can easily crack it without deformed steel bars. Hot rolled rebar that CamaSteel sells in most normal circumstances have better mechanical properties than cold rolled rebar. This is a result of the heat treatment of rebar that gives it its tensile strength, yield strength, plasticity, and toughness. Heat treatment also gives the hot rolled rebar an elimination of residual stress which cold rolled rebar may experience from uneven deformation.
