Hot Rolled Sheet Coils

Hot rolled coil is hot rolled steel that is sold by CamaSteel from leading Chinese steel suppliers that is already rolled and annealed. This is then wound into a roll. This hot rolled coil is recrystallized under high temperatures and shaped and formed to specification. After this process, the steel sheet is hot rolled under pressure and wound up into a roll. Hot rolled sheet coil, compared to cold rolled sheet coil has less precise dimensions as it was previously rolled during its state as a hot rolled steel plate.

Application of CamaSteel Hot Rolled Sheet Coils

CamaSteel’s hot rolled sheet coils have the same application as hot rolled steel plates. They are essentially steel plates that undergo an extra rolling process that curl the hot rolled steel plate into a more compact form. Before they become coils, hot rolled sheet coils by CamaSteel are pressed with a pressurized roller at temperatures exceeding 1000 Fahrenheit before it is recrystallized. This steel is then cooled at room temperature which eliminates future stress on the material under more strenuous uses. Hot rolled steel plates shrink non-uniformly when they cool leading to less uniform sizes, although the steel mills still ensure that the margin of size is within this area.
